The Story

Started in 2023, Bobcat Farm is the realization of my dream to grow delicious and wonderful food for my husband, myself and my community.

No chemicals, just good food.

Every variety is selected on specific criteria --

Weird - a long-forgotten variety or something not commonly found in the US

Wonderful - superior flavor or considered a culinary delicacy

Every crop is grown from heirloom, non-treated, non-GMO seed

No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are ever used

Certified Organic

ABOUT BOBCAT FARM

My husband and I have always been foodies and our travels have informed our passion for exploring new flavors.

The farm has brought me the opportunity to discover many unusual varieties that are both visually stunning and of exceptional taste.

I am a teensy operation with just a 50'x50' fenced garden and a 12'x20' greenhouse. The small scale enables me to stay committed to my principles of growing good food without the use of chemicals.

All weeds are hand-pulled. Pests are deterred with companion plants, not chemicals.  Crops are fed by compost approved for organic farmers, water and sunshine.

As part of that commitment,  Bobcat Farm is Certified Organic.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC,
HEIRLOOMS, NON-GMO,
NO CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS,
PESTICIDES, OR HERBICIDES

People have been growing food for thousands of years.  Only in the last hundred years or so has agriculture been awash in chemicals - to the detriment of our health and the environment.  It doesn't have to be this way.

My crops are grown from heirloom, non-treated, non-gmo and certified organic seed.  I grow in compost approved for organic farming.  That's it.  No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides.  Just good food.
